It happened to me many years ago in a Peugeot 405, high school car for 50.00 bucks. (You get what you pay for)
My brake pads froze to the discs, and off I went to school. When it got really bad I pulled over and they were on fire. So threw some snow on them to put out the fire, and then finally released after some back and forth movement.
What I learned, was like some other post have mentioned, do not use the e-brake in the cold wet weather. Leaving it in gear should be enough. Stick a block under the wheel if you are really nervous for the night.
I love this web site, thanks to everyone.
