Threading the cord... Posted by dparadis [Email] (#2915) [Profile/Gallery] (more from dparadis) on Mon, 12 Jan 2004 14:35:10 In Reply to: Re: It was on mine..., Dino, Mon, 12 Jan 2004 14:09:42 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
will probably be the next question (I know I struggled with it!).
My 2003 has xenon lights and because of that, even the dealer wasn't sure how to bring the cord to reasonable access. I tried bringing it backwards to the base of the windshield as I have seen explained on this board. Ended up not working as I can't see the plug if the hood is closed.
So instead, I brought it to the front and passed the cord over the threshold where the lock hooks the hood (holding it in place with...DUCT TAPE) and then behind the radiator and finally next to the fog lights. Has worked weel so far.
Announcing -33C here in Montreal over the next few nights. Changed to Castrol 0w30 over the week-end. Can't wait to see the difference!!!
(Maybe it's just me but it felt strange (more like worrysome) bringing an 8,000 km SAAB to Walmarts for an oil change!!!...)
