IIRC some poster on the site has replaced the lens with a clear piece of plastic. Then there is what Roger talked about below, somebody replacing the assembly with one with replaceable lenses (I don't remember that one but have no reason to doubt him.
But to directly answer you question, you can't replace the glass, you need to do the whole assembly. Not a difficult opperation, two electrical connections on a 99 IIRC, one for the fog light and one for the turning light that is also in the housing. This isn't a turn signal but a clear bulb that comes on with the turn signal and throws some light to the side of the car to assist in turning (this light eventually went away, I believe in 2001). Then there are three bolts, two on the bottom and one through the grill just inboard of the light assembly. I know this because I had one out once for repair. The lens was cracked but there was enough left to seal it up and glue in the loose sections with clear silicone sealer. It's been that way for about a year now and is still working fine.
