and I am SO happy with my decision. Don't get me wrong...the Viggen was a fantastic car, and the 3rd gear acceleration was something that will always be my favorite part. I think the Viggen seats were better, and I loved the blue inserts (I had a 5 door Lightning Blue).
BUT...my Cosmic Blue Aero wagon (5 speed auto with charcoal) takes all the great things in the Viggen and refines them. I'm at 8K, and the car is definitely screwed together slightly better. Nicer ride, the 11 spoke BBS rims may not be the prettiest, but they haven't bent on Boston roads (I went through 4 Viggen rims!), more front leg room, great stereo, etc. I also don't miss the torque steer one bit.
Maybe I'm beyond my boy-racer days...yikes, did I just admit I'm getting old and growing up?? :-) Granted, it was the Viggen that got me totally hooked on Saabs....this is now my third...
Cheers,
Paul H.
