I have a 2000 9-5 Sedan and bought the DrawTite (I believe the wagon uses the same part #36286) since it was a Class II just like Saab, and cost only $80. Getting the bolts fitted on the fram is a little tricky but requires no drilling. It took me 45 minutes with no prior experience.

If I had to do it again, I could probably do it in 20 minutes. I got some wire and duct taped it to the bolts. This helped feed it through the frame.

If you are uncomfortable about a DIY, go to a local shop or marina. The hitch install is not unique to Saab so go were you can get the best price.
