The engine malfunction light on my 01 Aero comes on from time to time. Dealer says not to worry, it's no big deal, it happens sometimes - but I've been driving only Saabs since 1987 and have never seen this before! I've convinced them to take the car in next week, only by telling them that Saab USA was astounded they wouldn't want to check this out. I understand that this can be connected to the gas cap but am concerned it's a sign of something else - it doesn't seem right. The car has only 40K miles.

Anyone have any suggestions? I'd like to go to the service department with some idea of what I want them to check. This dealer is the only reason that this will be the last Saab I own - there's no other choice within 150 miles of here.
