I think SAAB and Valeo did a great job with the bi-xenons, they don't seem to be offensive to oncoming traffic... unlike some of the illegal conversions done by the ricer & lowrider crowd (without the proper lenses--poor focus and cutoff).
I even adjusted the aim on mine a smidge higher, because I found them to be a touch too low for nighttime interstate driving out in the country... still, no angry oncoming traffic--never been flashed with brights.
The bi-xenon bulbs might cost more to replace, but it's said that the bulbs do last much longer.
In addition to the coolness factor, they really are a valuable safety enhancement. I honestly think it's a mistake to buy a $30,000+ car and not get the bi-xenons!
