Couldn’t believe my eyes when I opened the trunk of a 24K CND 04 Malibu. Not one, but two cargo nets were in place, and they looked identical two the one I have in our 01 lpt (sedan). Guess where the 9-5 cargo nets went! Another detail struck me; the very handy clip found on the lower left corner of the 9-5 windshield, which I believe was not carried over on the 9-3ss (correct me if I'm wrong), well it's on the Malibu! If anybody were wondering, the Malibu is a great ride but you would have to be driving blind to appreciate it. The car has the unmistakable cheap Chevrolet look and touch. On paper the car is a very good deal, has oodles of space and is very well equipped for the price. Heck, the computer has way more functions than the 9-5's. But it is so GM that although it is far superior to the previous Malibu, I don't think it will do much better in sales and remain a fleet car.
