may want to take a wheel off and use the handle of a screwdriver to pop it out. Make sure you wear protected gloves when you try to push the cap out, as the back side of the hole can be very sharp. The cap is very hard to take it off from the outside as it should, in fact, you may end up scratching the wheel if you do that. A couple here have posted that some inexperienced mechanic-to-be at a dealer did just that and put nice big scratches on the wheel trying to take the cap off from the outside. I use winter tires and I pop those little center caps on and off when I change between summer and winter tires.
There are a number center caps of slightly different sizes, so either you take one of yours off and check, or you may want to call up a trusted parts person by giving the part number for you wheel.
If you just need one, I would recommend buying from a dealer, just drive your car there and make sure it fits right at the car lot. The price difference between buying from the dealer and a Saabnet sponsor would be insignificant if you figure in the shipping charge for a single item. If you have something else you want to buy, then I would favor a Saabnet sponsor of course.
If the cap wasn't put on properly, I guess it could pop off when you hit a pothole or you drive at high speed.
