well...I just bought an '04 arc wagon...picked it up 3 days ago. Silver with manual transmission. Definitely in love and in honeymoon phase. I just wanted the wagon. I've driven both the 9-5 sedan and the wagon. Its the same car...no detectable difference in handling. Same chassis...different body (0.1" longer). Unlike a Volvo in that the sedan and wagon are different platforms.
I got the wagon just because I like it better. It's a great looking car...looks more saab-like in styling, a bit quickier(in my opinion)and the only 5 door they make anymore. I've never driven a wagon that felt like this, and have spent many weeks driving V70's.
