Yes you ned to get the SID out. One single bulb lights both these buttons and it is easily removed without taking the SID apart. I replaced it with a bulb from Radionics, but from the board here I see that people in the US get them from RadioShack. You will need to remove the old bulb from the holder and connect in the new bulb. For the bulb type, search the buliten board for heated seat switch bulb replacement .. and use these bulbs. The bulb holder is the same type as that in the heated seat switch.
It's an easy job ... just a little soldering .. and from what I recall no green cap on the bulb like on the heated seat switch buld.
