The most recent recommendation short of GM LL 025A (Mobil 1 0W-40 or Saab Turbo 0W-30 in the USA, many others in Europe) is for ACEA A3/B3, 0W, 5W, or 10W with fully synthetic suggested. The ACEA takes care of the number after the W. There are some XW-30 A3/B3 rated oil, but most are X-W40 or higher. Every A3/B3 oil I have seen is either synthetic blend or fully synthetic. That is what you should use.
Lighter weight (or A5/B5) oil is otherwise equivalent, but it lacks the ability to properly lubricate the heavily loaded main bearings in your turbocharged engine, IMO. Perversely, SaabUSA does not market oil which meets A3/B3 specification. You can't go wrong with Mobil 0W-40, which is the current factory fill, but there are many other oils on the market which also meet Saabs specs, including Amsoil 10W-40, Castrol syntec 5W50 and 10W-40, Castrol Syntec Blend 10W-40, and many more.
