I put these things on 2 cars, and really enjoyed them.
They replaced my eagle aquatreds on a Stanza, and were quieter and almost as quick at turn-in. Much less harsh, and better in snow.
They also replaced the Duralon Vertex that came on my used 9000, and I was in love! very athletic and planted. Very good wear, too.
However, my new love is when I replaced the MXV4's with Wintersports (M3) on my 9-5. I had expected a Blizzak feel, but WOW! These things handled!!!! AND, the road noise is LESS than the MXV4's by bunches! I won't be anxious to replace them with summer tires, as they are VERY athletic feeling. Turn -in is quicker than the michelin, and they seem to be showing minimal wear after 7000mi.
Every year there is tire improvements across the board.
I think the A2's are great if you want a cruizer with nice balance of atributes. But I doubt I will end up with them for my summer tire. Also, I thought they were reasonably good in the snow up to 4 inches, but don't expect great ice grip like Blizzaks.
