None of my cars have ever suffered an oil related problem. Based on the number of lawsuits that have been brought by the Fedeal Trade Commision against the oil additive people for false advertising, I perefer to use my Mobil 1 straight. I use good quality filters (Mann, Purolator Pure One, Mobil 1)and change the oil and filter every 5,000-miles.
