As a lot of Saab dealers are Cadillac dealers, they have access to GMPP, but Saab doesn't have a warranty to sell. They can Certify, but that has to be in conjunction with a sale.

GMPP won't extend the new car warranty after 3/36. I'd go online and check out Edmunds, Kelley Blue Book and others and get some quotes. Also check with your local credit union, they finance a lot of cars and they probably have a warranty company the like.

Do try and get a new car style "bumper to bumper" warranty. This has a short list of exclusions vs a "named component" warranty which has lists of covered parts and groups. One of the replies, I think JT, remarked that he had to pay $800 because what broke wasn't on the list which is very typical of a named component warranty. Most extensions of the factory warranty, warranties that start at the original in service date, are bumper to bumper style with only a short list of exclusions. Most warranties sold in 12/12 or 36/36 are named component style, and what breaks is somehow not on the list.
