I have about 45 K on a set in my 2002 Aero and although I now am getting some vibrations when I brake( whether the dreaded cementite build up or just plain old fashioned warping I do not know)but the pads are only about half worn down, and the dust factor is negligible, as is the rotor wear according to my mechanic. It remains to be seen if the reason for the vibrations under braking are rotor warp or a buildup of deposits on the rotor, but either way,I'll do the braakes by about 60 K to get it solved. The EBC pads have a slightly harder feel than the stock OEM Saab pads, but to some, including me, this is not a problem, just something you have to get used to. I have heard that there are some new ceramic based pads( Eric Strauss, are you out there),that are highly rated as well,so more posts on this subject will certainly show up.
