Attn: 9-5 leases ending Jul 1 - Aug 31 - Early Out!!... Posted by Mike Lynch [Email] (#81) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Mike Lynch) on Fri, 19 Mar 2004 15:33:19 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Saab announced an early out program for 9-5 sedan and wagon leesees whose leases mature between July 1st and August 31st. These lucky folks can terminate their leases on the date specified in their letter from Saab, when maturity is less than 120 days away, and Saab will waive (totally forgive, nobody has to pay 'em, not the leesee or the dealer) and purchase or lease any new Saab, 9-3 or 9-5.
As early out folks are returning their leases to Saab, there is still the $350 disposition fee which will be added to any excessive wear and tear or excess miles. Call Saab Financial and arrange a lease end inspection prior to turn in so there won't be any surprises. Excessive wear and tear standards are pretty liberal. Saab doesn't charge excessively for damage or excessive wear and tear, just what it would cost to fix it up enough to get it through the auction.
And once you payment date goes by, that payment cannot be waived. So if your third to the last payment is due on the 1st and you don't make it to the dealer until the 2nd, you still owe that payment. They'll still waive the last two payments, but they won't waive a payment that's past due. In short, any delinquent payment, even by only one day, cannot be waived. Plan ahead.
