Howdy I don`t post much here just kinda lurk and learn but today is different. I just completed 95% of the 60k service and the PCV update. My car feels new! The hoses from the PCV on the inlet and the check valve were broken and sucking air, not good. I changed the belt and pulleys with no hassle and directions from here.
For the special tool on the pulley with the allen head just cut down a 6mm allen after the bend to about 3/4 in long and you will be golden. If you need leverage put a socket with an extension over the end and wrench away.
I relubed my hyperboost valve and cleaned my throttle body. My car feels even better than when I bought it 2 years ago.
At first the car was hesitating a little during light throttle applications aroud 2-3k rpm. I reseated the oil filler cap and viola all good. The fitting in the filler neck from the PVC update sucks alot of air from the crankcase ensure the dipstick is seated.
I just love to wrench on my cars. After a hard day of fixing jet engines (Air Force) on God`s plane (C-130) I relax by fixing my own stuff at home.
