How close to the Southbay are you?

Saab of South Bay is a newer, smaller dealership that seems to be doing fine.
I deal with them and the service manager is very friendly.

Can you reproduce the hesitation at each and every acceleration.
The biggest challenge can be to make them alert of what the real problem is, and if it doesn't happen all the time they can be going on a goose chase in the wrong direction.

Todays cars (99 and up) are so crammed full of electronics and reflashable computer data that I wouldn't surprised that it is some kind of software update that is needed.

Keep in mind though that the information about troubles with 04 models might not have hit the dealership yet and therefore making it a little bit more difficult to trace down.

By reading this board and posting questions you can sometimes get a heads up on the upcoming problems and actually educate the dealer on what's needed to be done.
