If your vehicle/maintenance schedule requires GM LL 025A, then using Mobil 1 Truck would void the warranty. That's worth plenty more than a couple of dollars per quart.
The other oils in the USA market I know of which meet the GM LL spec are Saab Turbo Oil, 0W30, and Mobil 1 0W40, and Shell Helix 5W40. Mobil's 0W40 is (IMO) essentially a 0W30 oil which has been "stretched" so it just barely crosses the line into the 40 weight spec, and as such just barely crosses the line from ACEA A5 to ACEA A3. Shell Helix 5W40 is marketed through Ferrari's spare parts distribution, so while it is technically available, you'd have to be excessively rich to consider it. Both Mobil 1 Truck and Amsoil 5W40 are solidly 40 weight grades. This may not be a benefit, depending on your engine. I would have no qualms recommending the lighter oil in the V-6 motors, and even the LPT. I think the Aero models should have the higher viscosity, based on the higher pressure loading in the main and rod bearings.
