New 9-5 Arc - First Service/Minor Problems

I got my new 9-5 Arc a couple of weeks ago, a dealer staff car in steel gray metallic with premium and touring packages, about 5000 miles on the odometer. Love the car. There are a few minor problems and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice that I can pass onto the service tech. when I take it in. The problems are as follows:
1. Soft brake pedal and loud brake squeal with light application of the brakes. If the car wasn't low mileage, I'd swear that the pads are worn.
2. Inaccurate fuel guage. Twice the low fuel indicator light has come on, after the fuel guage declined normally, and I have "filled" the car with about 12 gallons of gas. Is this a known problem or is there a fix for this?
3. The parking brake doesn't set until the last one or two ratchets. Is this normal? I am afraid that I,m going to break the handbrake mechanism by pulling too hard to set the parking brake. I imagine this is a simple fix by adjusting the cable, probably from inside the car.
Any thoughts will be appreciated.
