That you had actually placed an order. With most of the cars that I have "ordered" in the case where it was a new factory order,the color,along with the other options, had to be decided when you handed over your deposit,otherwise it was not really an order. The majority of Saabs sold in this country are just cars that have already been comited to production being matched up with customers who want them. Very few actually are cars that the customer specs out and then waits two to three months to get.It appears that cars like an Aero wagon with a stick are indeed rare birds, and those are likely the ones that customers specially order if they cannot locate one from another dealer in the region. I was not trying to be nasty in my comment,just wondered why your dealer could not,or would not comit,to getting you a suitable color from inventory. By the way,I have Hazelnut and love it,but love Merlot and Silver as well. Expresso is a great color looks wise,but to me would be like caring for a black car as far as swirl marks,heat etc.
