Tire pressure and handling

The ratio of front to rear pressures is dependent on the suspension geometry as well as the weight bias. Having higher pressure in the rear tires adds stability, and I've found that C900 (and 99) models are very sensitive to issues of front/rear balance. I've found, for example, that having "T" rated tires in the back and "H" rated tires in the front can cause a C900 to feel "twitchy", even with a few psi greater rear pressure. The 9-5 seems far less sensitive to such issues, and thus can exploit the extra front tire pressure to help reduce understeer. Taken within reason, whatever few psi differential pressure gives handling properties which please you, that is a "good setting." I do thing the factory recommendation should be the starting point.
