that runs from the battery to the starter. That's what my problem ended up as. The connection gets loose and corroded, and needs to be cleaned and tightened. The tech at my dealership said he had seen a lot of these.
However, if your car is turning over, then it probably isn't that. Mine wasn't turning over at all. It happened twice to me, the first time it started up again while waiting for the roadside assistance truck, and worked fine for another couple of weeks. Then last Wednesday it died for good.
