You had me worried there for a moment, that you had information proving that the Trionic has to learn your driving style, but you didn't.
I've yet to be convinced that the Trionic actually "learns" your driving style.
It adapts the engine to the existing condition, it doesn't care if your grandmother drove the car last week and babied it.
But, I think that the Taliaferro-posted service bullentin does indicate that it must learn the maximum boost permissible for your engine, and needs to relearn this after a ECM change. It's reasonable to think that it also has to relearn following a battery change, as it is stored in flash memory. I contend that it doesn't have to relearn it every time you go for a couple of days without asking it for maximum boost.
When SAAB says that it is adaptive, they mean for individual, instantenous conditions, not some overall symbiosis with that driver.
