Dealer said I wasn't close enough to the 1000 mile or one month milestones (720mi/11 days) so the 1000 mile service is postponed. They are just checking out the "theft protection failure" message ans dead a/c for me today - the main reeason I brought it in, after three straight 100F+ days. [Of course it 30 degrees cooler today.] Back in a few weeks for the 1000 mile service, I guess.
My loaner is a Cadillac DeVille with the 32V V-8. For a land yacht, actually pretty zippy and rock-steady at 85+ on a long curving transition ramp (210W to 2S for LA people). Did a SID reset and it reported 18mpg on the freeway at a cruise-controlled 75mph. Overall average mpg stored in the computer (3334 mi) was 17mpg - assuming mainly used in urban/suburban driving as a service loaner. For about $51k sticker, not my cup of tea, but not your granny's Cadillac any more, either. Showed the Caddy to my wife and she crossed her index fingers in the "dracula go away" gesture.
