i'll assume you have a replacement badge? It'll look funny without the badge since there is an indentation, and IIRC a few little "guide" holes as well.
anyway, when i replaced my hood badge, I warmed up the area a little bit with a hair dryer, and then used dental floss to "saw" under the badge. it came off pretty easily. chances are you'll have leftover sticky stuff, which is easily removed with Goo Gone. I used some WD40 and failed miserably. Make sure the area is cleaned up and dry before you apply the new hood emblem.
