Yes.
Have you done a search on TSN for autorx or auto-rx? You will find more hits on the C900, ng900 and 9000 BBs. Not many posts really.
Whats the problem with your engine... anything? Uknown oil service history? You may want to pull the valve cover to see how things look.
AutoRx will soften deposits that solvent types will not. It is not a flush, as a flush is something you add, idle to warm and drain... not driving on it. There are drive on type solvent cleaners as well that are easy to find, 10-12 ounce cans etc. These are watery feeling when you shake the container. NEVER use thick addatives like STP.
Solvent type drive-on cleaners can work very well. Oil burning and consumption can be reduced or eliminated when the problem is stuck rings. If a solvent type does not work, autorx very well might.
Stuck rings and lifters can be caused by d[i|y]no oil or basic neglect. A true synthetic oil will resist heat, oxidation and polymerisation that leads to these problems. Syhthetic oils were developed to deal with these issues in the hot bearings of jet engine turbines. Group III oils are not the same, but they are legally called 'synthetic' in the US market. Castrol FakeTek(tm) is a group III dyno oil. So is Amsoil Series 2000. Other Amsoil oils are true synthetics. Use Mobil 1 [0|5]W40 oil and you will not have problems.
