I have an ABS module where your small fuse box is and I'm not inclined to move it out of the way with all the brake fluid lines to disconnect. I also tried poking through the rubber grommets of both those locations and there's next to no flex, making me mucho nervous about that route. If I'd had the ABS out of the way, I'd probably have done it though.
I finally did bring the wires into the cabin this afternoon by taking what looked like the path of least resistance.
I removed the driver's door and slit the rubber boot where the door harness enters the door frame and brought the wires along the hood release cable route and down behind the quarter panel into the boot. Then siliconed the slit in the boot shut.
DONE! All's that's left is to plug all the modules in and go for a test drive.
