While I was told too that rims tend to get out of round with age, as mentioned, I'm assuming you did not get any vibration with your previous tires. If that's the case, then it’s either a faulty tire(s), not likely, or not balanced.
I once heard, though can't validate if it is true, that sometimes tires can slightly rotate on the rim after mounting because of the water solution applied to the bead to ease mounting.
Anyways, have them check the existing balance and rebalance, if needed, for free. If it's still there, go to another shop.
