it should have been. If you order a new oil trap you will still have to drill out the orifice. The Oct '03 Technical Service Bulletin requires a 10mm orifice, the new trap I received had an orifice size larger than what was originally installed on my 2000 model, but less than the 10mm requirement. I didn't measure the hole but am certain it matched the enlarged size (~5mm) specified in the first TSB for the PCV system which has now been rescinded. The oil trap is plastic and drills easily. Since Saab apparently changed the specs on the oil trap to match the orifice size to the first TSB, they probably will change them again to match the specs on the Oct '03 TSB but the old stock will be sold first.
Yes, you will need to drill a 7mm hole in the side of the oil fill pipe to accomodate the new fitting which connects to the smallest hose in the PCV system. One screw secures this pipe so it is easy to remove and drill the opening.
I would replace all the hoses when you do this too. They all tend to rot after four years of exposure to engine oil and gasses. If your car is nearing this age you should plan on replacing the hoses now.
