Steel grey 2004 Aero back in the driveway finally. After 23 of the last 29 days in the car hospital. Most recent (fourth) visit was a short two days to replace the wiper switch (inop in intermittent and windshield wash, op otherwise) and seat heater switch (to correct uncommanded bun warming). First three visits were for "theft protection failure" warning and dead/weak A/C. All certified fixed now, although the coldest air I can get out of the center vent after the standard A/C routine (thanks again, Jason 5W-40) was 48-49F, against max acceptable per Saab specs of 44.5F/7.0C.
On the citrus statute front, With 23 days "off the road" already, we're working with a short fuse, so A/C performance may not matter if any more gremlins put the Grey Gose back in the hospital. I hope not. I just want my car to run right. Still holding Old Blue 900SET in reserve awhile longer just in case. Fingers crossed.
Maybe now I can finally swap in the FOrge BPV to see if it makes any difference on this engine.
Aero Academy here I come. Film at eleven.
Thanks to all for their suggestions.
seven Saabs so far, three in active service, and I'm still smiling.
/Geoff
