If they go up against A8L and 750iL, that doesn't do most people (including me) any good at all. Who can spend $80,000 on a car?
I want to pay *Saab prices* for a Saab-like car, but I also want to be able to take another couple to dinner in a different city without being concerned with their comfort en route. (I'm very tall, so I must have the seat all the way back in order to drive.)
Right now, the only way for me to do that is to either spend an obscene amount of money on a luxo-car like the A8L or else buy a moose of an SUV.
My thought was that perhaps Saab might suceed by *not* going after the small big-bucks market but instead offer an L version of the 9-5. It would be much cheaper to do. If I could afford it, then lots of others could too. I just wondered if anybody else thought this would be a good move, or is it only us too-tall guys.
