Just a note of caution about the serpentine belt and the need to check the belt and all pulleys.
A few years ago, I was driving along in my '91 n/a 9000 (+/- 85,000 miles) and heard a loud thump under the hood. I looked into the rear view mirror just in time to see something round roll away from the car, which was doing 65 mph. Then I noticed that the alternator light was on and the water temp gauge was climbing.
Turned out to be my harmonic balancer that came apart. The outer wheel shredded the serpentine belt as it existed the car. Luckily I was near home and had a replacement vehicle while the parts were shipped in.
Point being that the serpentine belt - and associated wheels/pulleys- should not be left alone until they fail. Check them regularly.
