Wow, here goes;
Has the 60,000 miles service been done? If so, then things like fluids and plugs will have been addressed. If not, have it done (If this is a V6 then the timing belt would have been changed free by Saab). Things that can improve the engine performance and idle are clean throttle body and proper new plugs. Idle is not normally messed with as it is a computer adjustment and rarely done. Clean the throttle body with a lint free rag and throttle body cleaner. I would recommend Mobil 1 0W-40 oil and Saab oil filter if you do some of the 60k yourself. Use NGK plugs of the type that are in the car now. Others will jump in with other suggestions I'm sure but changing the fluids particularly oil at 5k intervals is critical on this car. Do a search and read, read, read as there is a ton of info here. Hope you have lots of fun with your Saab!!!!!
