V6 DI Failure Story...

I haven't seen many posts about DI failures for the V6, so I thought I'd post mine. I have a 2000 SE Wagon that is just about to turn 60k miles. Yesterday, the engine light came on. I took it to autozone and had the codes read, which said "cylinder #1 misfire". The car was driving fine, but after reseting the code, the engine light came back on two more times with the same code. I went home and changed the sparkplugs, but that didn't fix the problem. After leaving the car with the dealer for the day, they replaced one of the DI cassettes and the problem seems to be fixed. Thankfully, the car is certified, so I didn't have to pay the $330 for the new DI!
