I'm confused....

The right side of the undercariage does have a plastic cover or stone shield. This has to be removed and replaced when performing some engine service (i.e. belt repalcement).
There is also a cover which extends all across the front, from the radiator forward to the chin spoiler. Likewise, this has to be removed and replaced when draining the engine coolant.
I am unaware of any cover on the left side of the undercarriage. Both of the covers mentioned above are secured by multiple screws.
What piece is it and how did you loose all the screws? I don't know exactly why they are there, but I would plan on keeping them installed.
