I called Saab 800 cust serv and specifically asked them to send me 3 for each car. also, Saab will send you for free a center armrest harness. this is to keep the center armrest from flopping down in an accident and hitting a baby that is rear facing in the center seat. it's really just a nylon strap like a small seatbelt strap. but it is free from Saab. no install required.
the 900 with the hatch was cake. just bolt on. done. the 9-5 sedan required removing the rear shelf. I did and have them all 3 installed nicely. on sedan, no need to ever remove them. all the newer cars have them already so this is common now. they have nice black covers and look very nice and original. the only note on the sedan rear shelf is since it is clipped in the very back at the window with typical cheapo clips, I broke about half of them getting hte shelf out. I was afraid this would cause a rattle. it did not (whew). but just be careful. not sure how wagon is set up. maybe much easier. so...if dealer balks at free install, it's not bad at all to DIY. I hope this helps. keep the precious cargo safe!!
