I have 1999 9-6 V6 and have been getting very high gas consumption. I am averaging 17L/100 KM City and 13.5L/100Km on the highway. The car has been brought to three different saab dealerships but my consumption has actually increased with every service. Over the last three months, I had to install a new turbo unit, two new DI, new alternator, new SID, and reprogramming of the ECM. However, the high gas consumption still persists.

The dealship assumes that the oxygen sensor is fine. Does have any other ideas what else to look at to bring back the gas consumption down. My friends has 2000 9-5 V6. He does 60% of his driving on the highway and he obtains a 9.8L/100KM over that last 2800 KM he has driven.
