From the W.I.S.:
1) Remove the right front wheel.
2) Remove the plastic shroud under the engine
3) Remove the crank shaft pulley (using the hex-bolts securing the pulley body to center hub, DON'T remove the center bolt)
4) Remove the right side axle shaft
5) Pull the engine toward the front of the car and drive a wedge betwen block and frame to hold it there.
6) Wiggle the alternator out through the wheel well..
This job entails 9 pages of instructions in the W.I.S. I did not mention the items you already completed. I strongly suggest that this is not a D-I-Y job without printed instructions and photos. Alternator replacement on the 4-cylinder is almost as bad - still required driving a wedge between engine and frame to gain sufficient room to extract the alternator.
Extraction (conjures images of wisdom teeth removal) is a far more descriptive term for this job than removal.
