Programming I, pg 81...no Tech II required... Posted by Mike Lynch [Email] (#81) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Mike Lynch) on Sat, 12 Jun 2004 13:38:45 In Reply to: HVAC reprogramming, neophyte, Sat, 12 Jun 2004 06:02:44 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
See pg 81 of the owners manual for "Programming I". With the ACC set to AUTO, push the OFF and the REAR DEFROST (the square window icon) at the same time, the display will go off and come back on, kind of a blink, to acknowledge the programming. The programming will take after the next time the car has been off more than ten minutes.
After "Programming I" the next time you start the car the ACC setting will be wherever you had it set. If you want some outrages setting to come on like a blast of cold in the desert or heat in the arctic, flip a few more pages in the manual for "Programming II" and then you can program a specific setting for startup.
