Oh to drive without chimes and lights all aglow is truly taken for granted until one has their tranquility rudely interrupted.

This said, I really appreciate a clear message that leaves the owner/driver without question on what to do. As I shared in the original posting, I "DID" read the manual and I did take action as descibed within it. I tooled over to the local SAAB dealer this am and they immediately put my car on the computer. The code was a new to them code so they called SAAB technical support and they gave good direction on diagnostic and remediation work to perform.

It turns out there are 2 safety switches that monitor the brake system and one of them developed oldtimers and forgot to function as engineered.
They replaced the faulty switch and I got the car back. Zero out of pocket.

I am pleased to share there are no issues!

Buy a SAAB and enjoy!
