Car has 66,000 miles. The car has had all services by the local dealer. I have read many of the posts concerning the problem I am having with warm starts and stalling. Here are the symptoms: I noticed occasionally at highway speeds the car would almost stall. Otherwise, it would start without any problems and runs great. A few days later and after a couple more "near stalls", it started taking longer to start the car after it had been running. Now, the symptoms are consistent: The car will start immediately the first time after it has been sitting for at least 30 minutes but anytime it has been driven (even for 10 minutes), it will not start until sitting for 20-30 minutes. It will also stall while driving. Here is what I have done so far: Inspected and replaced plugs (didn't look like they needed it), replaced battery, replaced fuel filter. Mostly from information on this board I believe I have narrowed it down to a few possibilities -- just want to get a couple of opinions.
1 Fuel pressure regulator -- Any ideas how much this would cost?
2 Crank Shaft Sensor -- Would this keep the car from starting after a stall? I read somewhere that the car should start after stalling if it is the crank shaft sensor.
3 DI Cassette -- Not sure if my symptoms match what I have read on this.
4 Fuel Pump -- Wouldn't I have problems with cold starts as well?
Any input would be appreciated.
