There are "Long Life" versions of the H7 lamp...

but you don't get something for nothing. They obtain their increased lamp-life by producing less light (and therefore heat)through use of a different filament.
I was replacing headlamps every six months when my car was new. First one side, then the other, almost like clock-work. As the car has aged the lamps last much longer, 2+ years now. I assume the delivered voltage to my headlamps has diminished slightly over time.
One hint though. I called Osram-Sylvania's Customer Service number, was very polite, explained my problem, and asked if they recently had a run of bad lamps. They assured me there were no recent quality problems, and sent me a case of 4 standard life and 2 long life lamps as a good-will gesture! $100 worth of lamps for the cost of a telephone call. Since placing that call I have only used one of the lamps.
Worth a try if your car is eating headlamps.
