How do I remove/replace door in '00 9-5

Hi,
I was wondering how difficult is it to remove/replace a door in a 9-5 sedan. I have some creases / small dent in one of my rear doors from a small accident a few months back. Body shops want between $750-$900 to repair the door, which includes painting adjoining panels. One body shop suggested I just fix/paint the door alone and would do it for $400.
I called GoldWing and they will sell a perfect door for $550 (shipped) so I'm thinking, maybe it's better to replace instead of repair. What are the chances that I'll be unhappy with mis-matched paint, due to uneven fading between my car and the donor door. I'm thinking if I have the car detailed & waxed (it needs it anyway - hasn't seen wax in a year), it will probably look fine.
Is this a difficult process, switching doors?
My vehicle is a '00 Aero, Imola Red. What years & models have matching doors. I believe the Red changed in '02 or '01. I'm not sure if plastic trim pieces differed from base, SE, & Aero models for the doors themselves.
Any/all advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
KevinH
