I was run off the road by an oversized load tow truck, hit a rock wall in the woods by the side of the road on the passenger side. 2 wheels were scraped up pretty badly but its mostly cosmetic damage, 1 tire blew from a sidewall puncture, so that wheel/tire was replaced immediately, currently I am still running on 1 damaged wheel, but the car rides as smoothly as it did on day 1. My tire pressure at the time was 39f/38r, I have since set pressure to 43f/42r as it states for 2004 Aero on the door sticker, but the ride suffers and I don't notice any huge handling improvements so I am going back to 39/38. I hit some potholes in my 5k miles, but the wheels have never bent or anything like that. I think the OEM tires are key with the 94 Extra load rating, those sidewalls are nice and stiff and do a good job of protecting the wheels.
