sunroof trouble, round 3

My '03 Aero is going back to the dealer tomorrow to have it's sunroof fixed. The history is:
At ~7k, a snapping noise started happening whenever I closed the sunroof. Directly above the driver's head, as the roof closed, a low snap would be heard. They replaced the left wind deflector arm at the 10k service. This took care of the problem for the time being.
The noise reappeared at ~13k. Took it in again and they replaced both arms. Again this worked for a while.
Now we're at about 17.5k and the problem has come back with a new twist. Now the roof won't open all the way. It makes it about halfway back and gets stuck. Then as it closes there's a nasty snapping sound.
I'm guessing there is some problem in the roof/sunroof that is causing this to happen, beyond just a bad wind deflector arm or two. Would it be appropriate to bring up the possibility of getting some sort of warranty extension on the sunroof?
