I bought a Certified 9-5 Aero about a month ago. I found that one of the tires had different Max Load rating (same size and same speed rating though). That's ok but I found that all the tires & wheels were 16", not 17". The dealer told me they need to replace them with 17" to make the car to be complaint with Saab Certfication.

I waited, waited, and waited...finally the tires and wheels arrived (2 came first and the other 2 came later. I needed to keep calling the dealer). I brought the car in for the tires and other services (something were missing during the certification process). Now I got some vibrations. I checked the tires again and found 1 tire is different from the other 3 tires again ! The Aero should have 225/45 R17 94W tires but the unmatching one is 225/45 R17 91Y. Of course "Y" is better than "W" but I don't think I can install tires with different speed rating unless they are in pairs. Could this be the reason for the vibration (maybe they need wheel balancing too) ?

Talking about the Certification, I found the following items were missing:

1. One of the brown/yellow signal lights was gone. They replaced the bulb for me but it has a different color (more orange than brown) than the one on the other side.
2. 2 Courtesy lights were gone (one is under the glove box and the other one is unbder the rear door)
3. There is no warning sound when I was driving the car with the handbrake applied. My 9-3 got this feature. The service guy told me this feature was not in 9-5 but I think the owner's manual said the car had it.
4. There is a hole on the windshield (under the wiper). They said there is no safety concern.
5. The dealer didn't give me a copy of the 110 points inspection sheet.

I talked the service guy about the tires and windshield and he told me to talk to the Sales people. I is quiet a pain to talk to these people in different area.

When you plan to buy a CPO Saab, do your own inspection too.
