I recall reading awhile back that the psi specs on the door decal were the maximum recommended pressure versus the specs on page 279 being the "normal" recommended pressure. Also read somewhere on this board that one of the Saab staffers at the Aero Academy stated that using psi of 40/39 was the optimum psi for most driving.
Also, in checking the pressure on our Aero, I used two different gauges, both of which were electronic and fairly new; got the same psi readings on both gauges.
Anyway, now with 40/39 psi in the car's tires we are looking forward to enjoying our new "baby!"
