Is that to get the 275 HP and whatever level of torque he mentioned, you have to modify the engine, which not only voids your warranty, fut the fact is you could modify the Aero's engine as well, so that is not really comparing apples to apples. Both cars have great performance,so unless the stoplight Grand Prix is your thing, the difference between these two cars performance is not a big deal. The seats are a bigger deal in my personal opinion, and as good as the seats in the arc are, the aero seats are possibly the best out there. The Aero also has low profile tires and 17 inch wheels.Opinions will differ on whether 16 inch or 17 inch wheels are better, but driving both cars is the only good way to form your own opinion on this. As for the presence or lack of Onstar, probably not going to make you buy one over the other. It is a well known statistic within GM that only a small fraction of the first year Onstar customers renew it . I happen to think it is useless for anyting other than the emergency airbag signal, and even there, if the cell phone connection does not go through, that feature is useless.
Go drive them yourself, then pick either one. Both good cars
